About who needs care: Very fastidious about household and personal cleanliness. Can do for herself but slowing down. Doesn't really like to cook, but does. Husband passed a year ago this coming 2/15. Looking at independent living, but also would like to stay in her house. Can drive but getting erratic and night time is not good. I've been going to clean every month. She likes to read and watch Hallmark movies. She prefers a slow pace and doesn't like going out unless needed for errands. Needs to be one person, not a rotation. They need to be patient, neat, clean and willing to do as she asks with the cooking and cleaning. She has high blood pressure, bad back, shoulder issues and knee issues. Can't walk too far or long or stand for extended periods. Is currently living by herself and caring for herself except the heavy cleaning. About the care needs: Needs to be a quiet and patient person who takes instruction well. They will have to earn her trust and respect, it takes her a long time to warm up to people. Should be a person who is good at paying attention to detail and cleans until it's spotless! Very clean and neat person. Non smoker or drinker. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
