About who needs care: Diabetic, severe back pain/neuropathy, difficulty walking. Weather permitting, she likes to garden in her backyard, cook, play games online. She's a smoker. About the care needs: Looking for someone highly trustworthy and patient; someone who's action-oriented (my mother wouldn't want someone who just sits around). Someone with high levels of empathy, and a kind, positive individual Experience in dealing with people that have difficulty walking/move slowly would help. Organization and cleanliness is important to my mother, so this skills help as well. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
