About who needs care: My Dad has Alzheimer's and I am looking for someone to help with occasional respite care so my mom can have breaks from caregiving. He is a former actor and singer, he loves sitting on the couch watching CNN or college football, or reading his high school and college yearbooks. He also sleeps a lot. He can still take care of himself but has no short term memory really. My mom still wants to be able to do things but she can't leave my dad alone. About the care needs: I am looking for someone patient and understanding, who would just give him companionship so my mom can get some breaks. He is a very pleasant guy!
