About the job
About who needs care: I have ALS / Lou Gehrig's disease. I continue to work at my job (from home), but given limited dexterity and mobility, I cannot contribute to keeping up the house the way I did. Much of this work falls on my wife, who is a teacher at a local school, and increasingly my 2 kids. I would like help with laundry, dishwasher, garbage and general tidying up. There may be opportunity to also help with some seasonal cleaning (garage, closets, basement). Open to ideas - we really just need an extra pair of capable hands and legs :-) About the care needs: Looking for someone who is reliable, efficient and conscientious Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
