About who needs care: My husband has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He cares for himself but I have his clothes ready. He has diabetes but doesn't need to have his sugar level tested or take medication during the day. He attends PT twice a week. He loves walking on the boardwalk. Fishing and playing golf aren't possible now, but he enjoys sitting on our patio and watching the golfers (our condo is on a small golf course). He takes a nap every day now after lunch. About the care needs: I feel someone who is outgoing and easy going, but definitely not someone who feels they need talk all the time. If they are not bored with golf and walking on the boardwalk that would be huge. To drive occasionally would be a huge help. Preparing my husband's lunch and making sure he's comfortable is my primary concern.
