About the job
We are looking for a friendly, experienced, no nonsense senior care helper for maybe 2-4 hours a day Monday to Friday for an 80-year-old man with advancing Alzheimer's Our care concerns are: Medication Prompting, Mobility Assistance, Help Staying Physically Active, Bathing / Dressing, Feeding, Heavy Lifting, Meal Preparation, Companionship. Important - experience with Alzheimer's Assistance with showering is one of our requirements. Responsibilities include making a light snack or drink, sitting with him for a little while, watching a bit of tv maybe a game of backgammon. Helping him with showering getting to the rest room Going for a little stroll
