About who needs care: Care needed post surgery. She is currently mobile and able to take care of herself (she lives alone) but will be mostly be bedridden for a few weeks post surgery. The surgery is not orthopedic and she will not require physical therapy to regain mobility, just time. About the care needs: Ideally, the caregiver should be outgoing (my mom likes to talk) and be very diligent. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
