About the job
We're looking for help with my father's nightly bedtime routine, including getting him to bed by 8:30 p.m. While his bedtime routine is the main priority, we're also interested in the following care: Mobility: Taking him for outdoor walks, guiding him in doing in-chair PT or in-bed PT exercises, supporting walking with walker as exercise, and ensuring safety during daily activities. Food: Assisting with feeding dinner and helping think of new foods to try. Companionship: Providing social interaction and emotional support, engaging in conversations or cognitive activities, and ensuring he feels recognized and valued. Requirements: COVID vaccinated. Experience with transfers. Schedule: We're looking for care in the evenings 7 nights a week, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
