About the job
I'm looking for hands-on care for my parents in their 90s. Med management is required. Light housekeeping as well, but limited to direct care of my parents (kitchen, bedroom and bathroom clean-up and laundry). Meal prep of breakfast, lunch and dinner is needed. Help with bathing and dressing is needed for mom in am. Mom wears a diaper at night, depends during the day. Dad just needs clothing and shower set ups. Mom has mild dementia. Both have some short-term memory loss. Mom uses a walker and needs to be prompted with activities. Dad uses a cane but is pretty active. Prefer a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. I'm looking for someone who is respectful, responsible, professional, reliable with a good work ethic. Residing nearby is helpful due to split shift on Saturday and 4 hr eve shifts Tues and Weds.
