About who needs care: My father is going through cancer treatment and currently has a biliary drain that needs a bit of daily care. In addition to the medical care, he could use some help with meals (reminders to eat and help finding something), reminders to drink water, assistance caring for an elderly dog (golden retriever), and general encouragement. About the care needs: We would love someone who is pleasant to be around with a positive attitude and the energy to provide encouragement. Someone who could cook a meal once in a while would be a plus. Must be okay with a large (very sweet) dog. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
