About who needs care: recovering from a surgery, has COPD, uses a walker, likes reading and playing cards, car rides, old movies About the care needs: someone who is engaging, patient, good listener, willing to support mom full time in the short term and then likely ween off to perhaps day only support and then shifts throughout the day. Someone who can motivate my mother to participate in social activities and be more active than she has been even prior to her surgery. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
