Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Fort Lee

About who needs care: My mom is bed-bound, extremely limited mobility, but no other medical concerns. She needs help with toileting/changing, light housekeeping, and help bringing food to her bedside from the kitchen. There is another helper who makes the food and does shopping. My mom is very articulate, well-educated, a retired teacher and guidance counselor in NYC. She enjoys watching TV and reading, talking with family on the phone, and conversation with helpers. Her apartment in Fort Lee is lovely and very comfortable for helpers to spend the day in, with a beautiful view of the Hudson River. About the care needs: We really only need someone who has knowledge of how to help clients with toileting to keep them clean, healthy, and safe. My mom stays overnight by herself so she needs the person who is with her for the evening shift to help her get ready to spend the night alone. We need someone reliable who shows up, is compassionate, and who cares about the well-being of their client. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
