I'm looking for live-in home care for my mother who's in her late 80s. Assistance with medication is needed but more of a reminder at this point and helping to organize it. We want someone who can handle light housekeeping (laundry and general clean-up) but do have a housekeeper come in. Will need help with bathing 2 - 3 times per week. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Other duties include providing companionship, and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who has a car and can run errands / shop. No smokers please. If live in is not an option, would consider someone who spent the nights and could provide some adhoc other support when it worked out. In this case, we would continue with our current daily aid.
