About who needs care: My husband, 84, has a mild heart problem and has anxiety issues, wants frequent reassurance and help in areas where he could help himself. He has a mild hearing impairment. He needs help with sponge bathing dressing. Personal hygiene and meal preparation. He is oriented x3 but needs reminders about the date. He likes to get up late mornings has breakfast/lunch, watches westerns on TV in the den. He walks with supervision, needs encouragement. Wears a diaper, is incontinent of urine. Toilets himself on commode. About the care needs: He likes a friendly person who can be both firm and reassuring. He is a yankee fan, likes music. Skills would be patience and experience with the elderly. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
