About the job
About who needs care: Rich is physically well but is dealing with some dementia and with his wife in rehab for a broken hip we need some extra help short term as well as relief for her longer term. There are two very friendly golden retriever dogs in the house. Currently a separate caregiver is hired to walk the dogs but comfort with dogs is a must. The job is mainly as companion to him as he gets anxious when he is alone and has very limited ability to care for himself as far as meals, etc. Hours will likely vary based on circumstances, but there is flexibility for you as well. Expectation is that someone will need to be with Rich about 5-8 hours per day Monday to Friday for the next 4-6 weeks. Then probably 3-4 hours on 2-3 days per week depending how well Rich's wife heals from her broken hip and how much relief she wants to
