About who needs care: My sister in law was diagnosed with beginning stages of Alzheimer's. She is also recovering from surgery for a broken femur so she needs a walker. She is diabetic and takes several pills in the morning. My husband and I both work full time jobs and need help with getting her up in the morning, checking her sugar, making her breakfast, providing companionship in the afternoon and making her lunch. About the care needs: Somebody who is compassionate and very patient. Knowledge about diabetes is a must. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
