About who needs care: Mobility Issues, uses an electric chair. Starting early signs of dementia. Needs companionship, help with cleaning, lifting, cooking, laundry. About the care needs: My mother is not a trusting person but eventually warms to new people. She is independent and doesn't like to admit that she's not as sharp as she once was. Does not take well to being "told" what to do or what she "needs" to do but would rather feel its her choice if she needs help or not. Can be a little argumentative especially when she gets confused. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
