About who needs care: My mother is currently living in a skilled nursing facility and has late-stage dementia. She is bedridden and in need of assistance with feeding, being cleaned and dressed, oral care, and being turned every two hours due to a pressure wound. She also needs someone who can be with her on a consistent basis who is cheerful and will talk to her and advocate for her to ensure she is getting the help and attention she needs from the staff in the facility. About the care needs: We are looking for someone comfortable caring for someone at the end stage of life who will be positive, kind, talkative, and willing and able to treat our mother as her children would when we cannot be there. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
