About the job
Seeking friendly, upbeat, smart aide for my father who is near 80 We're looking for someone to provide companionship & help with things like calls/voicemails, taking him out for meals locally or food/errand shopping. We might ask you to run errandswith/for him. Right now he needs assistance as he transfers from chair to bed, etc., as he is coming out of rehab & continues to need to improve his strength to avoid more falls. If care is needed but slow to come at the facility, that's where you step in. We are local but have active families so cannot provide this daily monitoring, which we feel is necessary right now. Duties may also include other transport (doctor's appointments, church, to our houses, errands, etc.). Hours can flex & are only "suggested" in the job description. Thx!
