About who needs care: She recently had a diagnosis of potential cancer which we will not officially know until after Monday, 2/17/25. In the meantime she had a partial stroke leaving her with partial vision. Her autonomy is now dropping and the concern is for to be able to function fully alone. She also has an ostomy bag since she had her colon removed 16 months ago. It would be helpful to have someone comfortable in assisting with that as well as laundry, like cooking, cleaning, and overall companionship. About the care needs: Mom loves animation world and loves to talk about it and watch live streaming from the park. Someone who is kind and patient - patience is key. The ability to cook and help with general assistance like bathroom and showers if she needs help. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
