About the job
I am looking for a companion for my mother, who lives in a total care facility in Cedar Grove. I am looking for someone to engage her in conversation, read to her, play music, take her outside, play games and make her feel like she matters. Someone who is lively, upbeat, compassionate and fun! Someone who loves to chat, sing songs, and who is familiar with Alzheimer's- as patience and compassion is key. This is straight companion care- she is bedridden, so there are no errands,- there make be some brushing teeth and taking her to appointments inside the facility. This is strictly for social engagement and activity- to enhance her quality of life. Also to be my advocate for her proper treatment and care at the facility. Pay is fixed at $18/ hr Hours looking for weekdays MON, WED, FRI. Flexible time 5-6 hours a day- anytime from 11 a.m. on
