About who needs care: My Dad, who is 91 and was fully independent until he broke his right leg on July 25th. The cast was removed and he has a boot for at least 3 more weeks. His mobility is limited to using a walker with help while wearing the Frankenstein boot. He has had some physical therapy to teach him how to use the walker and navigate the living room and kitchen. He needs aid when using the walker as he has lost a bit of strength. He can go down two stairs with walker, so long as he has help, and sit on the toilet in powder room. Otherwise he is limited to his couch. Looking for a caregiver 7 days a week 11 am-8 p.m. Have some flexibility. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, bringing him his meals, providing him clothes that he puts on himself, and mobility assistance.
