I'm looking for companion care for my father (79). He was until recently living alone about 15 minutes away from me, in Wisconsin. He temporarily moved into my sister's house in Neptune, NJ until his apartment was ready. During that time, it became evident that he needs a bit of assistance to continue to safely live on his own. His memory can be a challenge, and he has depression that limits his motivation. REQUEST: Focus is on ensuring my father eats, showers, and takes his medication regularly. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping to maintain the space. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We may ask that you handle transportation to Dr. appointments as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. Daily schedule is flexible.
