About who needs care: Mom can stand with some assistance and walk short distances with a walker. Needs 24/7 care including bathing and bathroom assistance. Lives at home with her husband but he is unable to provide her with the care she needs. She has her mental faculties but is debilitated by MS. About the care needs: She enjoys talking and playing games. Watches TV a fair amount. She likes to get out of the house, and used to go to the gym with her caregiver. That's not currently appropriate, but she likes to have things to do. A personable caregiver is important. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
