About who needs care: She suffers from Lyme disease and potentially other neurological disorders. She is very with it, however, has long-term memory loss and occasional confusion. She uses a walker and has balance issues. She needs regular support with physical therapy exercises. She needs help with self-care routines, such as showering, doing her hair and nails, and making it safely to and from the bathroom. She is a lovely woman who has a great sense of humor and enjoys reading, watching TV, Word, searches and puzzles from time to time. she needs support with managing medication. She lives at home with her husband, who works out of the house four days a week. there is a small hypoallergenic, very friendly dog at the house. About the care needs: We are looking for a mature and dependable caregiver who is easy-going, mild mannered, and empathetic. Someone with great communication skills, who is also good at observing behavior and could alert the family to any changes they observe in our mom. We would like this person to be CPR and first aid certified. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
