About who needs care: My 94-year-old Mom lives in a ranch home on her own. I come every Tuesday and we have so much to get done we don't have time for socializing or playing scrabble, boggle, or Yahtzee games she loves. She is hard of hearing, she has had 2 spinal stenosis surgeries which she wears a left foot brace for foot drop , uses a cane outside the house for stability. She fractured her humerus left upper arm which now is not attached to her shoulder so she cant raise that arm much higher than table level. A friend brings her to bingo and she plays 24 cards at once and wins. My needs are bring to hair appointment, load of laundry , change sheets every other week, and play games stated above. Bring in newspaper and mail. About the care needs: Older care giver who enjoys talking with older people. Playing her games, bringing her to hair appointment and maybe McDonalds or Paneras. Word games, cats, wildlife birds , chat about bingo. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
