About the job
About who needs care: My mother and father live together. My mom has Alzheimer's and my dad needs live in help to be there throughout the day, as needed. There is a separate basement area for a person to live in with a bedroom and a bathroom. Although the person we find will be available between 9 a.m. to 7pm, they will have time off when everything is set and when my dad will be able to be with her. She usually sleeps 10-12 hours a day which is nice. Shopping, cleaning, medical appointments driving, and food prep and whatever else is needed will be required. About the care needs: They will need to just help mom with dressing, taking to bathroom, helping with shower and giving both mom and dad their meds. They need to be a pleasant patient person! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
