About who needs care: My wife has a significant memory disorder and cannot be left alone. She bathes, dresses, feeds herself, but does need assistance with some things (fixing a cup of coffee, getting the TV on, etc). She's a bit anxious and gets restless, wanting something to do someplace to go. She doesn't like to watch TV during the day and no longer reads a lot. She loves to go out for coffee or just to get out and see all the activity in town. Ideally, she would get up, shower, dress, eat breakfast with me, and then we could benefit from someone coming (9ish?) here. When I'm working in my study here or have to go to a meeting in town or would like to see friends, etc, she would love the companionship of someone who could talk with her, take her to go get a cup of coffee and a doughnut, run "an errand." Maybe half a day to start, 4 or 5 days a week, and if it worked, maybe more. About the care needs: We would like someone who is kind, trustworthy. Services needed include: companionship.
