She is a kind, loving, and funny person. She did yoga for 40 years and enjoys mindfulness, sitting by the lake, and being in the company of caring people. She lives with her husband, they have been together for 55 years. She is living with moderate, -later stage Alzheimer's disease. She needs more assistance with walking, a little unsure on her feet and help with her care needs. She has some trouble with her speech and yet if you give her time, she can be articulate about her needs. The ideal caregiver would have a high level of emotional intelligence and identify as empathetic and compassionate toward their clients. Someone that understands dementia and is willing to adjust their communication style to the needs of our loved one. We want someone who is mindful, kind, and responsible, who can laugh. Need dependable, non smoking.
