About who needs care: 89 y/o male, ambulatory with a walker, uses chair lift to go up and downstairs. Needs meals prepared and cleaned up, help with laundry, and companionship while we are traveling. About the care needs: We are looking for someone with a warm personality, very responsible and reliable, preferably someone who can cook and who keeps things clean. Someone who has more maturity would be good. We tried a service before, and they sent a 24-year-old out to look after my 89-year-old dad, and all she did was turn on the TV all day. He does not watch TV. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
