seeking a compassionate, patient & reliable live-in caregiver to assist our dad, a 65-year-old man recovering from a tickborne virus. - Uses a wheelchair with moderate assistance for transfers. - Requires help with daily activities such as dressing, bathing & meal preparation. - Has a speech impairment that is improving, requiring patience and time to understand him (becomes easier with familiarity). - Fully neurologically intact with normal memory & intellect. Responsibilities: - Assist with mobility & transfers. - Provide support with ADLs, including hygiene, grooming & dressing. - Prepare & serve meals - Help with household tasks - Offer companionship & engage in meaningful conversation. - Assist with strength exercises Compensation includes a private room & bathroom, along with a negotiable salary based on experience.
