Job: $20/hour 1) Weekly visit to develop a relationship with my husband, become familiar with his personality, normal routine and cognitive level. He enjoys watching and is quite knowledgeable of most sports and movies. 2). Additional daily visits - Be available to visit him for an hour to make sure he is clear minded and seems normal on most of the days that I travel out of town. I travel 3-5 times a year. These dates would be scheduled months in advance. Client- My husband has well controlled Parkinson's, mild cognitive impairment and early Lewy Body Dementia. He functions at a high level in his familiar routine and our home. He is friendly but quiet. He is courteous and cheerful. He needs zero physical help. He has no health problems other than Parkinson's and Lewy Body. We have a small, friendly non shedding golden doodle dog. Dog can be kenneled when you visit if you prefer that. We are non smoking. Location - our home in Papillion Nebraska. You must be willing to complete the application to be approved by our long term care insurance for his home health care. To be approved you need to provide documents proving you have completed some type of relevant training and/or have verifiable, relevant job experience and pass a background check. You must have proof of training as a Home Health Aide, a CNA, a Med Aide, Senior Companion, etc, but you do NOT need to be currently certified, Employment as a Patient or Resident Aide at an Assisted Living or higher level care facility will also work.
