Part-time Hands-on/dementia Care For Couple In Winston-Salem.

We are seeking to hire a reliable caregiver for my mother and father in Winston-Salem. Responsibilities include dementia care for dad and hands-on care for mom. Dad is currently fairly independent on daily tasks, but sometimes has more difficulty and needs assistance. He also regularly needs prompting for tasks and vigilance due to decreased balance. Mom requires assistance with eating, incontinence care, and transfers via Hoyer lift. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with dogs, and CPR/first-aid trained. Candidates may also be asked to assist with general housework, meal preparation, companionship, and basic pet care. The position is for 2-3 weekday evenings and weekends evenings (18-30 hours per week) and is a payroll position. We are willing to discuss other work and pay schedules.
