About who needs care: Dementia Chronic Back Pain/Lumbar fractures Her day depends on her pain level Has been depressed on and off her entire life Anxiety Smokes only outside Attempts to do unsafe things (using step stools, climbing in the attic, roaming in the woods, locking herself out) Mama loves to tell stories about when she was little. She also talks a lot about when my parents were younger. She loves to laugh and joke. Oldies music is good for her soul and music changes her mood in the best way. Her ideal day would be sitting around with family in her house, laughing and snacking. About the care needs: Positive and encouraging with a good sense of humor. 40 years old and up and not easily offended. Would prefer if they have experience working with dementia/Alzheimers patients. Criminal background check and drug screening a must. They should like being outside. Mama goes outside to smoke but just likes it in general. She likes flowers. Loves animals, but doesnt have any, and will not be getting any pets. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
