About the job
My brother is in need of loving, hands-on care. He lives in Waxhaw, is 53 years old, and has experienced brain damage due to diabetes. We are looking for someone with diabetes experience and preferably also dementia or TBI experience. He will need help with ADLs such as: - insulin administration - feeding and meal preparation - bathing and toileting - dressing - exercising, including PT, OT, and speech exercises - light housekeeping - transporting to/from appointments Must be non-smoker and comfortable with pets (cats and one small dog). We are looking for 24/7 care but would need separate day and night caregivers since night can be active. Pay rate is negotiable, please let us know your ask.
