About the job
Help needed for my father in his 80s -I have a 2400 sq ft house in Wake Forest, and am looking for help, as I am moving my family into my home for multigenerational living. My primary priority is my father. He is mid 80s, can walk with a walker, and talk, but is recovering from a hospital stay, is tired, and has low heart function. He understands and speaks English, although it is not his first language (it is his 3rd) and is very hard of hearing. My mother and sister are also in the house, and they are able to help with most of the care. Ideally, I am looking for respite care for my dad, to schedule weekly breaks and errands for us. Housekeeping and laundry are also helpful. If there is a housekeeper/senior care combo, that would be ideal. I know that I may have to hire a housekeeper/ cleaner separately.
