About who needs care: Mom has Rheumatoid Arthritis and early stage Alzheimer's. She likes to do online puzzles, loves her cat, likes to watch birds and deer outside her home, and loves to look at family pictures. She usually gets up 8:30-9 a.m. Her ideal day would be a light breakfast, perhaps a lunch out somewhere with a friend, an afternoon nap, dinner with Dad, some TV in the evening (she loves Friends), and then bed. About the care needs: Looking for someone calm and friendly. Perhaps slightly introverted. Someone who likes cats (they only have one). Someone who likes to read. Willing to help with laundry. My father is a retired architect and mom is a retired teacher, and they like art, cultural events, food! Need someone to help motivate them to participate in activities like church events, community events, physical activity for seniors (like chair yoga at the senior center). Good sense of humor! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
