About the job
Looking for a Personal Care Assistant to care for our mom. Our mom is a hemorrhagic stroke survivor with limited right side mobility. She is alert and able to self feed as well as provide some assistance with transfers to and from bed, chairs and mobility equipment. Activities of daily living required. Assistance with bedside commode use and ultimately bathroom use will be required. Other skills required: Bathing and skin care Light exercise using tools/equipment Daily outings/walks Must be able to cook Prescription pick up and medication prompting Laundry Light cleaning trash removal Must follow daily schedule Appointment companion Must be comfortable with our family shih tzu Family will be onsite 3 shifts available: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday/Sunday 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. (20 hours) 2hr break
