We are looking for a patient and understanding caregiver to provide our father with love and support. About our father: Kind and gentle with a good sense of humor. His Alzheimer's can sometimes make him irritable and cranky. Responsibilities: Provide 24/7 care and assistance with ADLs, Respond if needed during the night, Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment, Provide companionship, Administer meds, Communicate with family regarding care. Qualifications: CNA or equivalent. 5 years of caring for Alzheimer's patients. Patience, compassion, honesty, sense of humor, positive attitude. Benefits: Private room and bathroom in 4 bed/3 bath home. Only home occupants are father and daughter. Three hours rest at least 2 days a week and 1 weekend a month off. Salary depends on experience. Schedule can be shared by 2 caregivers.
