I'm looking for hands-on care for my father in his 90s. We're looking for someone to provide companionship, assist with mobility and transfers, monitor activity, provide opportunities to promote wellbeing (he has been physically active all his life, and the ideal caregiver would encourage and assist him with exercising in the home with walker, hand weights, bands, etc. daily, or at the gym in his building). Caregiver must be a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained with reliable transportation and a patient spirit! His needs may change in terms of daily assistance once he is back "on his feet" after a hospital stay. This may be a temporary position, but more likely to be ongoing with varying hours.
