About the job
About who needs care: My 86-year-old mom is moving in with us this weekend because their money needed to go for my dad's move into memory care full-time. My mom is still pretty spunky but hasn't driven in about 4 years. This move has been hard not only losing her own apartment but the loss of not living with her husband of 55 years. She doesn't have any local friends to talk with so I'd love someone to come over and either take her out to the grocery store on Wednesdays or other errands or even hang in and have coffee here at our house.... something along those lines. Just to have some companionship other than myself and my husband since we're not home all of the time. She could really use a friend. About the care needs: Someone who is a good listener and not treat my mom like a child, if you know what I mean. Services needed include: transportation, and companionship.
