Live-in Home Care Needed For My Mother In Knightdale

About who needs care: Recovering from a stroke with mobility issues and global aphasia of speech. She will receive PT/OT/ST in the home that she lives in with her husband. We are considering live in with the right person (person would have a private room with attached bathroom) but especially need someone in the mornings and evenings with getting up and going to bed. One story home with an automatic lift for stairs into home. My parents have 3 cats. Light housekeeping and meal prep would be needed. She has a tendency to want to lay in bed. We'd like to have someone get her up in the morning and into the living room where she can be "up", receive visitors and do her therapy. She currently is in a diaper but her mobility is recovering and we hope she will be able to resume using the restroom before leaving the rehab facility. Her ideal day would be getting up, getting bathed, groomed and dressed and moved into the living room to begin receiving therapy and visitors. Once she is done with therapy she will probably want an early dinner and to move to bed to watch Hallmark movies. She's a very sweet lady and is well loved by her church community who will likely visit regularly once she is home and settled. About the care needs: Need someone with a silly and upbeat personality that can make her laugh. We don't care where a person is from but due to hearing aids of my father and her global aphasia and speech difficulty, we ask that the person not have an accent. We had an Irish doctor in the hospital and my father couldn't understand a word he said. Wonderful doctor, but my dad can't understand an accent anymore now that he's in his 80's with a hearing aid. We'd need someone who can assist with getting my mom to utilize her walkers and other equipment in the home. Again, we are hoping that she will be able to use the restroom on her own before leaving the facility but that may be an issue. She seems to be progressing in that direction but I don't want to say either way because I really don't know yet. We just want a caring person who has fun and doesn't mind cats. My parents are fun people and my dad will tell you 100 dad jokes the first day. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
