Seeking Senior Care Companion In Hickory

**Schedule can be flexible between multiple candidates. Our father is in assisted living. They handle most items but he needs more help right now. He is 91, has Alzheimer's & is recovering slowly from pneumonia. He can feed himself but he needs someone to help "prompt" him to eat so that he eats enough & doesn't fall asleep. He needs help asking for tea and a straw, or salt/ketchup. He is also supposed to be on a "Chopped diet" but a lot of times, he needs his food cut smaller or prepped for him to eat it. He needs adequate help getting to/from the dining room - he can walk but he needs someone to walk with him. Between meals, he'll need help when he gets up & down, to do physical checks on him & clean him after the bathroom. He loves Andy Griffith & playing cards, if you like blackjack or go fish. He is very sweet & easy going.
