About who needs care: My mother Sherry Joyce just turned 90. I'm visiting from California and took her to the DMV today to renew her expired driver's license. Mom did not pass the DMV's vision test. She has a few upcoming appointments that require round-trip transportation while her driver/caregiver also waits for her on site. Her eye doctor will need to examine her and then we'll know if she's cleared to drive at all or only with restrictions. If it's the latter, a driver will need to take her back to the DMV with the doctor's completed vision form and wait for her to be seen. About the care needs: I am looking for someone to drive my mother to appointments, wait for her, and then drive her home. She may also need someone to run some quick errands for her. Mom is a delightful , charming person and gets along with everyone. Services needed include: transportation.
