Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother .

We are seeking compassionate, detail-oriented caregiver to provide hands-on care for my mother and additional support to my father (her primary caregiver). Both are in their late 70s. My mother has a rare motor neuron disease in an advanced stage and is essentially paralyzed, with limited ability to communicate, so patience and understanding are a must. Care duties include using a powered lift to transfer between a power wheelchair and the toilet, assistance with meals, and dressing and hygiene. Other duties include light housekeeping (meal cleanup, laundry, tidying, etc.), occasional errands, and general care and companionship. Experience with plant care is a plus. We are seeking someone to alternate days with another caregiver. Schedule is every other weekend and Tuesday or Thursday. Please apply only if you are available these days.
