Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Gastonia

About who needs care: My father is 86 years of age. Currently undergoing immunotherapy treatment for metastatic cancer. Returning to his home tomorrow (Sat, 9/14) after three weeks in rehab and two weeks, before that, in local hospital. He is ambulatory but needs assistance with walking and transfering. Additionally, he would benefit from safety-minded home task, meal prep, and general human engagement support. This care provider request is short-term, at least initially. I have contracted with a national senior caregiver agency who can begin their services on Wednesday, 9/18. This request is for a more immediately available professional who can support my father from 9/14 - 9/17. If this person ends up being a great match, I would be open to negotiating a more full-time contract for five days a week 8. 5 hours, and 4 hours a day Saturdays and Sundays. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
