About who needs care: Has systemic scleroderma and lung fibrosis. Recovering from 4 bouts of aspiration pneumonia in past six months. Difficult to insert needles and IVs due to scleroderma and toughness of skin. Difficult to read O2 on fingers and other extremities as well. Currently in hospital as too weak to stand, go to the bathroom, and clean himself. Will Likely be on PEG feeding tube soon. About the care needs: Patient. Nurturing. Firm. PT/OT experience a bonus. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
