About who needs care: Generally very healthy. Likes to walk a mile or two every day. She is frustrated at her home situation right now because she loves where she is living but will not be able to live independently for very much longer because she has macular degeneration and very soon will no longer be able to drive. The main thing she really needs is someone to transport her so she can do errands 1-3 times a week. She likes to shop takes about 35 minutes to drive there from her place), and would like to go there at least once every other week. Plus dental appointments and to her dance class 1-2 times a week About the care needs: A good fit would be someone who is VERY patient and pleasant and positive. Someone who can talk a little louder than usual, but not seem like they're yelling. Hobbies/interests: Mom used to belong to these clubs but mostly cannot any longer because of her macular degneration: "Knit Wit" (knitting), Book Club, Botany Club, Gardening, Hiking Clubs. She love's and still goes to "NIA" -a special kind of dance/exercise. Services needed include: transportation.
