About the job
About who needs care: My mother is 78. She is a fall risk. She walks on her walker while getting around in the house. She can get herself up from bed and from chairs with little to no assistance. She has a history of stroke, so balance issues are a problem. She must walk with the walker. She does not go outside without assistance. All pets except her dog would be put up and off limits. She would just need help getting the tv set up, food given to her, and possibly her meds depending on what time of day. The meds would already be ready to give. My wife is a full-time caregiver, so we need to be able to leave the house at times without my mother. Any other questions, please ask. About the care needs: My mom does minimal activity during the day. She sometimes works on her PT and OT exercises, but mostly, she likes to watch Mama's Family, Show, or games shows. She loves animals and likes to talk about them or watch nature/animals shows on TV. She also loves her sweets (chocolate, cakes, cookies, etc). Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
