Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Chocowinity

About who needs care: My Mom has dementia but it is in the mid-stage. She is still totally independent. But she can no longer cook or do house work. And she needs to be taken to the grocery store and other small errands. She needs a cane to walk and moves very slowly. My sister lives in Mom's neighborhood but she works full-time and cannot spend time with Mom during the day. The house work will be light and cooking a simple meal with some leftovers will help greatly. She has a cat. I live in Raleigh and am trying to visit every two weeks or so to bring her cooked food and see how she is getting along. About the care needs: Mom is very friendly and would like an outgoing personality. She doesn't have much interaction with folks so part of the need is for some company. Someone who can cook simple meals. I would like for the person to be observant to notice any deterioration in Mom's ability to do simple tasks. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
